Signed by Chihuly and numbered. Prints with handwork are created by drawing with paint onto existing prints after they are pulled from the press.
Fountain of Youth, the first Fine Art Print since 2004 to highlight the Venetian series, dramatically illustrates Chihuly’s artful balance of form. A departure from his quintessential, free-form sculptures, the gilded Venetian vessel is outlined in royal blue ink and presented against a background of soft seafoam green. Black stems and scattered dots of mango complete the composition and express Chihuly’s spontaneous approach to drawing.
