Signed by Chihuly and numbered. Prints with handwork are created by drawing with paint onto existing prints after they are pulled from the press.
Chihuly’s drawing style directly correlates with his approach to glass – intuitive, gestural, and spontaneous. Broad sweeping motions delineate the expansive circumference of the Float form in Simply Red. Handwork of acrylic paint that shifts from white to gold is set against a crimson background while carmine and metallic gold dots pepper the interior to create a dazzling opulence.
