A bit surreal...
A handmade concrete Oven Mitt trivet by Houston, Texas based company, pretti.cool.
Each piece is completely unique and will have variances and nuances in coloring and structure- which we think is pretty neat. Inspired by that classic, quilted oven mitt that we've all used as a makeshift trivet. Safe for use with any hot pots or serving dishes.
Pretti.cool concrete work is all individually hand cast from custom made rubber molds. Colors are integrally mixed into the concrete and results in each piece being unique. Although the sealer is food grade and safe we don't recommend using these for direct food contact. Natural voids occur during casting and some pieces will have very small pin holes.
