2026 Studio Edition
Every year, Chihuly creates four Studio Editions, representing Chihulyโs most distinctive series. As every piece is handblown, your artwork may vary slightly in size, color, and shape. Small blemishes or imperfections in the glass are part of the glass blowing process and add to the individual characteristics of each piece.ย
Dale Chihulyโs Seaforms are an evolution of his Baskets, echoing their asymmetrical,ย
slumping forms. In turn, they are the predecessor of his Persians, with their characteristicย
ribs that create a fascinating interplay of opacity and translucency.
The 2026 Brilliant Gold Seaform Studio Edition is a bold statement in form, color, andย
visual texture. Its edges, grazed with a citron lip wrap, rise and dip, emphasizing theย
pieceโs undulating shape. A body wrap results in subtle wisps of red, accentuating theย
richness of the workโs warm, golden hue. The two nested elements create additionalย
visual interest, resulting in a composition that suggests motion and commands attention
