2024 Studio Edition
๏ปฟEvery year, Chihuly creates four Studio Editions, representing his most distinctive series. As every piece is handblown, your artwork may vary slightly in size, color, and shape. Small blemishes or imperfections in the glass are part of the glass blowing process and add to the individual characteristics of each piece.
Dale Chihuly began developing his Seaforms in 1980, utilizing the elemental forces of heat, gravity, and centrifugal force to create gracefully poised and abstract marine-like sculptures.
The 2024 Blue Topaz Seaform Studio Edition reveals the glass mediumโs ability to emit color and light. The cool sky-blue outer edges of this two-piece composition gently stretch and fade into a counterbalancing interior of warm, radiant amber. A raised body wrap contributes texturally, while a black lip wrap emphasizes the compositionโs sculptural form.
